Call for Article
Polysemy prioritizes texts that contain authorial insights with adequate logical, textual backing and discursive merits.
The articles should be based on exploratory and qualitative research questions where the issues are investigated and explained from a number of critical perspectives and substantive information. The conclusions should claim novelty in view of the addition and consolidation of knowledge and scholarship in the related fields.
Format of the Article
Authors are encouraged to structure their texts in the following format:
- Abstract- A paragraph less than 300 words containing the research issue and its significance, method/methodology and the findings.
- Introduction: A few paragraphs including the background, review of selected and relevant literature, problem statement, and research purpose
- Literature Review: A summary, and synthesis of existing body of literature.
- Research Method/Methodology: The method/methodology deployed to study the issue.
- Results/Discussion/analysis
- Inferences/Conclusions
- Works Cited
Language
The article should be written in English (US). It is on the part of the author to thoroughly edit the text before submission though it will undergo review and copy-editing after submission.
Graphics
Tables and Figures should be numbered sequentially in accordance with the MLA documentation system (latest edition). Relevant Tables and Figures should be presented in the related section of the article. However, a separate file of the same is expected so as to ensure keeping important information unchanged in the process of review and editing as the text is read in multiple systems and media.
The source of every Table or Figure should be provided in the article. Images should meet the minimum requirement for publication, preferably in 900 kb or more.
Word Limits
The article should be between 5000-8000 words.
Style/Format
The journal follows MLA style of citation.
